Our founders, Shab & Nish, entered the world of entrepreneurship by cracking the Graduate Entrepreneurship Scheme, the hardest and most prominent way to earn UK citizenship and permanent residency.
We launched our parent company Root Groups in 2017 and opened Root Store Supermarkets in Birmingham and Leicester. The Root SuperStore Leicester is now a sprawling 14,000 square feet exclusive shopping space for food items.
The exponential success of our supermarkets persuaded us to launch Root Millers, a unique brand for freshly milled Indian spices & flours. Within a short period of time, Root Millers became one of the most popular brands in the United Kingdom for freshly milled food items.
The brand has its own manufacturing unit to produce and distribute flours and spices across the United Kingdom.
Later, we dipped our feet into wholesale business by supplying our products to top restaurants and premium catering services in the United Kingdom and across the globe.
